Bake Sale Changes
We will NOT be having the bake sale this Thursday. I have heard from many people that this week is very hectic and they need a little more time to bake. Plus, I have not heard anything about the people who are in charge of getting the permits. However, to the ones in charge of this - if you have already gotten the permits, try and go back and change the date. We WILL be having the bake sale the following Thursday (October 5); same time and places apply. Because of this switch, if your availability does not work please let me know ASAP. We also have a CHILD meeting this night so this seems more logical anyways. Our plans were to have the sale until 6:30 which is right when our meeting starts so this time also works great; instead of meeting in KL I think we will just meet in Dodson since our sale is only at that location from 5:30-6:30; everyone needs to meet at that stand and then we can relocate upstairs in Dodson; we can eat supper and meet there. TO PUBLICITY
Please post on our bulletin board or somewhere around it a copy of what is below. Don't post anyone's phone numbers. Just post the times people are working, where at, whose cooking what, and where it is going. If people forget these items they can go to the board to find their answers instead of having to call someone!

***When there is three or more people working at a time make sure that someone is checking on the other station to see that the food is equaled out. Also, make sure that you have enough change; if you need change first ask the other table if that doesn’t work for you then call me (I’ll try to get some if we need extra).
My number is 704-418-3773 (Erika). If this doesn’t work give Reida a call 704-472-9894. If that doesn’t work give Courtney a call 919-619-8432. One of us will probably be able to get you whatever you need. Don’t count on us picking up though right when you call because we could be in class. However, I will be entirely available after 12:15.
If you must leave your station, take your money and try to pack up your food!!!
Whoever is in charge of getting the two permits I need you to do this ASAP, preferable tomorrow if possible. Please let me know if we are able to get these two places because if not we will need to make new arrangements.
Whoever is in charge of setting up our next meeting place, contact me ASAP and I will tell you the procedures to follow for that!

CHILD Meeting #2
The second CHILD meeting will be held next Thur (Thur, Sept 21, 2006) at 6:30 in KL 218! Remember we will be talking about CHILD T-shirts, fundraisers, Books on Tape, Homecoming, more officer duties, etc. Can't wait to see you!

About first CHILD meeting
Thanks to all that came tonight. This year seems like it is going to be very productive and a blast. Here is a list of the new officers for 2006-2007:
At the next meeting we will be discussing- Constitution, delegating responsibilties, tshirts, fundraisers, AWAKE, Books on Tape, a guest speaker, etc.
The next meeting is Thur, Sept 21, 2006 at 6:30 (the place is undecided, will let you know ASAP!)
